  •  Laura Dickerman in conversation with Stephanie Peral

Books & Books 265 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables, FL

Two editors. One desk. And the literary estate of the century on the line. Laura Dickerman's debut novel Hot Desk is a sharp, witty love story set against the cutthroat world of post-pandemic publishing, where passive-aggressive Post-it notes on a shared cactus give way to something neither Rebecca Blume nor Ben Heath saw coming.
