Hosted by the Cuban Heritage Collection, this book talk explores how the places we leave behind continue to shape who we are. Join “The Geography of Memory: Stories From the Cuban Diaspora” featuring memoirists Ana Hebra Flaster and Elena Sheppard. In Property of the Revolution and The Eternal Forest, they reflect on exile, political rupture, family history, and the emotional legacy of displacement across generations. The conversation will be moderated by Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Mirta Ojito, author of Finding Mañana: A Memoir of a Cuban Exodus.
