Public Performance at GableStage: A Dose of Fun, The Wonder Show!

GableStage, in partnership with FIU Theatre, launches A Dose of Fun: The Wonder Show!, a new theatre-in-hospitals initiative bringing puppetry, music, and imaginative storytelling to children ages 5 to 13 receiving long-term and critical pediatric care across the community. The program begins with a five-week residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Holtz Children’s Hospital and is presented by the Carol Marie Weber Family Foundation, Inc.
In the magical Realm of Wonder, a shy young chef is sent on a quest to make Dragon Soup before nightfall. Along the way, she encounters knights, pirates, mermaids, and a not-so-scary dragon, discovering that bravery does not mean being fearless. It means trying anyway. Packed with puppets, music, storytelling, and interactive fun, The Wonder Show! invites audiences of all ages to laugh, play, and use their imagination every step of the way.
A public performance is open to audiences of all ages. Families are encouraged to attend.
