Parks Pollinator Palooza

Keep Coral Gables Beautiful and the Coral Gables Community Recreation Department will host a family-friendly event focused on local pollinators at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the War Memorial Youth Center, 405 University Drive.
Activities include learning about butterflies, building birdhouses, creating a butterfly garden, children’s crafts and readings, and a planting activity. Participants will also receive an introduction to the iNaturalist app, which can be used to identify and record pollinator species found in local neighborhoods and backyards.
Volunteer hours are available upon request.
