Family Art Workshop

The Lowe Art Museum’s Family Art Workshops invite families to examine works in the museum’s galleries and discuss themes including emotions, identity and relationships. Participants then use those conversations as the basis for a hands-on artmaking activity.

This workshop focuses on the mask-like works of artist Alexandre Arrechea featured in the special exhibition “El Pasado Mío.” The program is designed to encourage creative expression, social-emotional learning and conversation among family members of different generations.
