Jarred Armstrong performs live at Armstrong, bringing a mix of R&B, soul, jazz, and funk to the venue for an evening centered on his music and performance style.
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Armstrong began his professional music career as a teenager, performing the National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Falcons before going on to lead his own band at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday. His career has included work as a keyboardist and musical director for Cuba Gooding Sr. & The Main Ingredient, as well as performances as a vocalist and saxophonist with The Seth Burkhart Four.
Armstrong has shared stages with artists including Lalah Hathaway, Sting, Stephanie Mills, Kenny Lattimore, Raheem DeVaughn, Musiq Soulchild, and Dr. John. In 2022, he won first place at Amateur Night at the Apollo in Harlem.
The performance at Armstrong gives guests an opportunity to hear Armstrong live in an intimate venue setting, drawing from the R&B, jazz, soul, and funk influences that have shaped his career.
