Historian Cristina Soriano discusses her new book project, “Between Two Crowns: Trinidad and the Trans-imperial Age of Revolutions,” examining Trinidad during its transition from Spanish to British rule in the late 18th century. Moderated by Jay I. Kislak Chair and Curator Daniel Arbino, the presentation will explore Spanish reformism, Caribbean revolutions, and the strategies colonial governments used to respond to political and social change.
