Wreck | An Evening with Catherine Newman

Author Catherine Newman will appear for the release of her novel Wreck. The novel returns to the family introduced in Sandwich two years later, following Rocky as she lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband, Nick, daughter Willa and widowed father, Mort, while her son Jamie begins a new job in New York. The story centers on Rocky’s growing concern over a local accident and a medical condition she fears could affect her family.

Newman is also the author of Sandwich, We All Want Impossible Things, the memoirs Waiting for Birdy and Catastrophic Happiness, and several books for younger readers. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Real Simple, O, The Oprah Magazine and other publications.

The event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase during the event. An RSVP provides general admission but does not guarantee seating, and guests are encouraged to arrive early.
