After Hours marks the 60th anniversary of Tokyo Drifter, director Seijun Suzuki’s 1966 Japanese gangster film. The story follows Tetsu, a former killer trying to leave his criminal life behind. His plans change when former associates call him back to Tokyo to help fight a rival gang.
The film is known for its stylized violence, vivid color palette and unconventional visual approach associated with Japanese cinema of the 1960s.
Tickets are $5 for After Hours members, $8 for cinema members and $11.75 or less for nonmembers.
