The Reading Party 

Shh… We are reading. Books and Books is hosting a Silent Reading Party where guests settle in for a quiet gathering and enjoy time reading together. You can bring your own book or choose one from the store. After 30 to 60 minutes of companionable silence, the group ends with a casual conversation about what everyone is reading. Wine is available, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the focus is on the simple joy of reading in good company. The event is hosted by Alyssa Expósito, Books and Books’ social media manager and program coordinator, who works to build community through storytelling.
