A new period drama makes its Southeastern U.S. exclusive premiere from January 9 through January 15, with a members-only preview screening on January 8 and a red carpet opening night screening and reception on January 9.
Set in 1916 during World War I, the film centers on a choral society in Ramsden, Yorkshire, after most of its male members have been sent to fight on the Western Front. Determined to continue, the group recruits local young men to rebuild its ranks and searches for a new chorus master. Their choice is Dr. Henry Guthrie, played by Ralph Fiennes, a demanding and reserved musician recently returned from Germany whose past raises quiet suspicions within the community. The story explores music, resilience, and the tension between personal history and public duty during wartime.
