The Burrow Session No. 28: KerreKe
October 30 @ 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Latin Grammy-winning ensemble KerreKe performs at The Burrow in Coral Gables as part of the venue’s live music series. Formed in Miami, the group brings together musicians from Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela, combining traditional Latin American folk music with contemporary influences.
KerreKe’s repertoire draws from Venezuelan and Colombian joropo, Mexican sones, and Caribbean rhythms. The ensemble won the 2025 Latin Grammy Award for Best Folk Album for “Joropango,” a collaboration with violinist Daniela Padrón.
The performance takes place in The Burrow’s salon, with doors opening at 8:00 pm and the concert beginning promptly at 9:00 pm. Seating is arranged around shared tables, and guests may be seated with other attendees. The venue requests that personal conversations be kept to a minimum during the performance. Seating is limited, and advance ticket purchases are recommended.
