Plogging at Chapman

Celebrate the 2026 Greatest American Cleanup season at KCGB’s 6th Annual Plogging Event on Saturday, April 18, from 8:30 to 10:30 am at Chapman Field Park, 13600 SW Guadalajara Street.
Volunteers will jog or walk through the mangrove trails, collecting litter to keep it from re-entering the ocean. Plogging combines jogging with plocka upp — Swedish for “picking up” litter — for a fun, eco-friendly workout at your own pace.
Cleanup supplies will be provided by KCGB and Miami-Dade County. Bring a reusable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen. Volunteer hours are available upon request.
