On Connection and Belonging: Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy in Conversation with Maribel Pérez Wadsworth

The Knight Foundation presents a conversation with Vivek Murthy, former U.S. Surgeon General and founder of The Together Project, in partnership with The Miami Foundation. The program is part of the Ten Days of Connection initiative and marks a stop on The Together Project’s national listening tour.
Murthy will be joined by Maribel Pérez Wadsworth, president and CEO of Knight Foundation, for a discussion focused on community, social connection, and the challenges of loneliness in the United States. The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A and an opportunity to meet the speaker.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required and seating is limited. Check-in begins at 3:30 pm, and the program starts at 4:00 pm.
