Miami Collegium Musicum presents “Serenade to Motherhood,” its third annual concert centered on themes of motherhood and womanhood under the program “the light within her.” The performance features works by female composers spanning from the Medieval period to contemporary music, offering a broad historical perspective. The program’s central piece, “Illuminare” by Elaine Hagenberg, will be performed with guest participation from the John A. Ferguson Senior High School Choir.
