La Cucarachita Martina y el Ratoncito Pérez

La Cucarachita Martina y el Ratoncito Pérez will be performed during the closing of Miami’s first International Festival of the Arts for Children. The production also marks six months of performances.
Directed by Sara Miyares, the children’s play is adapted by Ulises García from the classic work by Cuban playwright Abelardo Estorino. The cast features Yani Martín and Steven Salgado.
The production includes scenic design by Nobarte, led by Pedro Balmaceda and Jorge Noa, costumes and masks by Zenén Calero, graphic design by Román Fernández and original music by Ernesto Lecuona. The performance is presented in collaboration with Sala Catarsis, which also serves as the festival venue.
The production is supported by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the mayor and the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners.
