From Spain and Cuba

The South Beach Chamber Ensemble returns to the Coral Gables Museum for its 2026–2027 season with a program spanning Spanish classical music and Cuban danzas. The repertoire includes Manuel Canales’ String Quartet in D Major, Op. 1, Joaquín Turina’s String Quartet in D Minor, Op. 4, de la guitarra, and Ignacio Cervantes’ Danzas Cubanas, highlighting the European and Afro-Cuban influences present in 19th-century Cuban music.
