Florida State Day Celebrations Inauguration

The inaugural Florida State Day, also known as Pascua Florida Day, will take place at The Plaza Coral Gables. The event commemorates how Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León named Florida during the season of Pascua Florida. Guests are encouraged to wear white or red, the colors of the Florida flag. The celebration includes a social hour, program, Chupinazo, and a “Passport to the Plaza” restaurant and shop crawl. Proceeds will support the SSJ Health Foundation.
