Family Day On Aragon at the Museum

Families are invited to spend the day exploring art and culture across participating Aragon Avenue institutions with free admission to all galleries and newly opened exhibitions.

11 am to 1 pm: Alliance Française Little Prince Activity
Children can participate in a themed activity inspired by The Little Prince.

11 am to 1 pm: Comic Kids Holiday Program
Comic Kids, a nonprofit that teaches art through comics and illustrated books, will guide children ages 5 to 12 through holiday coloring and craft projects. Participants will create cards using drawings, stickers and decorative materials while learning basic design skills.

11 am to 1 pm: Artmaking with TMP
TMP is a teen-led program that introduces young people to architecture, urban design and visual arts. The session focuses on hands-on projects that build confidence and encourage civic engagement.

1 pm to 2 pm: Brenda Navarrete, The Energy of the Drum
Musician Brenda Navarrete leads a rhythm workshop that incorporates percussion, movement and group participation. The session introduces patterns, clapping and body rhythm, showing how sound and movement work together. Open to youth and adults with no prior experience required.

4 pm to 5 pm: Play Together Ensemble
The Play Together Ensemble presents a holiday performance featuring community musicians. The program highlights collaborative music making and seasonal repertoire suitable for families.
