Cielo Tejido, A Woven Sky

Beginning May 1, Cielo Tejido launches as part of the Giralda Sky, transforming Giralda Plaza with a suspended installation of handwoven textiles. Created by artisan women from Etzatlán, Mexico, the work introduces a canopy of color and pattern across the pedestrian corridor.

Presented with support from the Consulate of Mexico, the installation highlights traditional weaving techniques and brings cultural craftsmanship into a public setting. The project marks the first phase of the Giralda Sky series, with a second installation scheduled to debut in August.
