Celebrate 50 Years of Doc Thomas House Stewardship

This spring, Tropical Audubon Society celebrates 50 years of stewardship of the historic Doc Thomas House, a longtime gathering place for conservationists, preservationists, and nature lovers. Visitors are invited to explore the 1932 cottage and its grounds through free guided history tours on Saturday, April 4, and Saturday, May 2, with tours at 1 and 3 p.m. The milestone honors the vision of Arden Hayes “Doc” Thomas and the role his beloved home continues to play in South Florida conservation, preservation, and community life.
