Backyard Basel at the Coral Gables Museum

Miami Art Week expands west as the Coral Gables Museum, its Young Associates, and the Business Improvement District of Downtown Coral Gables present Backyard Basel, a special Art Basel–inspired edition of the Museum’s Gallery Night series. Downtown Coral Gables becomes an open-air hub of art, music, and community, featuring outdoor markets with local artists showcasing works priced from $50 to $5,000. Guests can also enjoy live music by Mama Fuma, bites from neighborhood restaurants, and a beer station from Prison Pals Brewing Co.

For a more curated experience, the VIP Collectors’ Lounge offers a bubbly bar by Happy Wine Calle Ocho, craft beer from Unseen Creatures Brewing and Blending, chef-driven bites, large-scale installations, and opportunities to meet participating artists.

Coinciding with the event, the Museum debuts Happy 100th Birthday, Celia!, an exhibition honoring the centennial of Celia Cruz. Presented in partnership with the Celia Cruz Foundation, the show features intimate portraits by Alexis Rodríguez-Duarte and Tico Torres and will remain on view through February 22, 2026.
