An Evening with Siri Hustvedt in conversation with Mitchell Kaplan

An evening at Books & Books brings together owner Mitchell Kaplan and author Siri Hustvedt for the release of her memoir “Ghost Stories.” The free, public event includes a conversation on the book, followed by a signing, with copies available for purchase on-site.

In “Ghost Stories,” Hustvedt reflects on grief, memory, and enduring love following the loss of her husband, Paul Auster. Blending personal narrative with philosophical inquiry, the memoir incorporates Auster’s letters and unfinished writings, offering an intimate look at their shared life and the experience of loss.
