An Evening with Oliver Libby in conversation with Chris Adamo

An evening with Oliver B. Libby will mark the release of his new book, “Strong Floor, No Ceiling.” The event is free and open to the public. An RSVP grants general admission, though seating is not guaranteed. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

In “Strong Floor, No Ceiling,” Libby outlines what he describes as a radically moderate framework aimed at strengthening economic opportunity and civic trust in the United States. The book examines policy approaches to healthcare, education, infrastructure, capital markets, and social safety nets, while proposing strategies for bipartisan cooperation and institutional reform. It also introduces the launch of a Strong Floor No Ceiling organization designed to support candidates aligned with these principles.

Libby is a civic entrepreneur, investor, and policy advocate. He serves as cofounder and Managing Partner of H L Ventures and CityRock Venture Partners and is cofounder and Chair of The Resolution Project, which supports socially responsible entrepreneurs globally. Over the course of his career, he has worked across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including roles on Capitol Hill and within the intelligence community.

The conversation will be moderated by Chris Adamo, founding partner of Flamingo Capital, member of the founding team at Letterhead, and advisor and investor in more than 80 technology startups. Adamo is also a Senior Advisor to Cooley Law and has been active in Miami’s technology and arts communities.
