An Evening with Nelson German

July 23 @ 6:30 pm

Chef Nelson German will appear for the release of his debut book, “Caribbean Cocktails: Drinks and Bites from the Afro-Latino Diaspora.” The event is free and open to the public. An RSVP provides general admission, but seating is not guaranteed. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and RSVP only if they plan to attend. Copies of the book will be available for purchase during the event.

Published on June 2, 2026, “Caribbean Cocktails” explores the food, drinks and cultural traditions of the Afro-Latino diaspora through more than 40 cocktail recipes and 20 food recipes. The book combines Dominican heritage, Caribbean flavors, modern mixology and personal stories from German’s life and career.

Recipes range from spritzes and rum cocktails to alcohol-free drinks and small plates. The book also includes an ingredient index, batching instructions and low-ABV variations for home bartenders and entertainers.
