An Evening with Chantel Acevedo in conversation with Natalia Sylvester

Author Chantel Acevedo discusses her new novel, “Cages,” a multigenerational story that follows the life of a Cuban zookeeper whose experiences span Havana, London, and Miami. Told through multiple perspectives, the novel explores exile, family relationships, political upheaval, and identity. Acevedo, a Miami native and professor of English at the University of Miami, will be joined in conversation by author Natalia Sylvester.
