Coral Gables Art Cinema presents a repertory screening of John Cassavetes’ “A Woman Under the Influence,” selected by Mitchell Kaplan. The film stars Gena Rowlands as Mabel, a woman struggling with her mental health, and Peter Falk as her husband, who struggles to understand and support her. Through Mabel’s relationships with her husband and extended family, Cassavetes examines mental illness, marriage, and the influence of family expectations.
