Nino and Yasmina’s relationship unfolds over three decades as they navigate friendship, love, family and the realities of life in Lebanon during periods of war. As circumstances become increasingly difficult, they must decide whether to build a future together at home or pursue a new life elsewhere.
The film was named a New York Times Critic’s Pick and won the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival.
