The United States Marine Band

The United States Marine Band, known as “The President’s Own,” performs at the University of Miami’s Gusman Concert Hall as part of the Frost Music Live concert series. Founded in 1798, the ensemble is the nation’s oldest professional musical organization and has performed for every U.S. president since Thomas Jefferson. The program features patriotic music, orchestral transcriptions, and contemporary compositions. During its visit, the band will also participate in an educational engagement with students from the Frost School of Music. Ticket holders must arrive by 6:45 pm to guarantee seating, with unclaimed seats released on a first-come, first-served basis.
