2026 Coral Gables Candidates Forum
October 1 @ 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
The Gables Good Government Committee hosts the 2026 Coral Gables Candidates Forum at the Coral Gables Museum, beginning with a candidate reception from 5:30 to 6:00 pm, followed by presentations and audience questions from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Candidates scheduled to participate are Laureano Cancio, Jackson Rip Holmes, and Mayor Vince Lago for Mayor, Group I; Commissioner Melissa Castro and Nestor Menendez for Commissioner, Group IV; and Gonzalo Sanabria and Nikki Whiting for Commissioner, Group V. The same candidate slate is listed by GGG for its September candidates forum.
The event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required by September 30 through Gables Good Government Committee.
