Gables Family Literacy Festival

The fifth annual Gables Family Literacy Festival returns to the Coral Gables Youth Center, offering a full day of programming focused on reading and the literary arts. Presented as a community-wide initiative, the event includes a Scholastic book fair, literacy screenings and evaluations, and a street fair with exhibitors and vendors. Families can also expect author readings, book signings, children’s activities, live music, and food options. Designed for all ages and abilities, the festival encourages summer reading while connecting residents with local educational resources.
Vendor applications are now open for the Gables Family Literacy Festival at the Coral Gables Youth Center. Interested vendors must complete the official 2026 Vendor Permit Application and submit it via email by Monday, May 4.
