Miami City Ballet Orchestra makes its debut at the Sanctuary of the Arts with “”Ballet Classics Under the Stars.” Conducted by Gary Sheldon, the program includes selections from “Sleeping Beauty,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Serenade,” and “Polovetsian Dances.”
Concertmaster Mei Mei Luo performs Carmen Fantasy, and pianist Francisco Renno performs Piano Concerto No. 3 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The program also features dance performances by members of the Miami City Ballet and the Sanctuary of the Arts Choreographic Ensemble.
