Pinewood Cemetery Invasive Plant Removal

Keep Coral Gables Beautiful and Miami Climate 365 will host a community service event at Pinewood Cemetery.
Volunteers will assist with removing invasive plants to help preserve the landscape and historical character of Pinewood Cemetery. The event is open to students, families, and community members, with an opportunity for students to earn volunteer hours.
Participants are encouraged to plan ahead due to limited parking. Carpooling, ridesharing, public transit, or walking is recommended. Bus #37 stops near the cemetery entrance from the South Miami Metro Station.
Attendees should bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sunblock, and wear long sleeves and pants. All supplies will be provided on site.
