My Man Godfrey

In My Man Godfrey, Fifth Avenue socialite Irene Bullock sets out to win a scavenger hunt that requires finding a “forgotten man.” She encounters Godfrey Park living in a dump along the East River and hires him as the Bullock family’s new butler. Inside the household, Godfrey must navigate the family’s chaotic behavior and the hostility of Irene’s sister, Cornelia, who repeatedly tries to have him dismissed. As Irene grows attached to Godfrey, his presence begins to shift the family dynamic, exposing their excess and forcing the Bullocks to confront their own behavior.
