Jazz Roots | “Kind of Blue: Celebrating the Music of Miles Davis”

Frost School of Music honors the 100th anniversary of jazz icon Miles Davis with a concert led by Artistic Director Shelly Berg and conductor Scott Flavin. Saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, and vocalist Veronica Swift join the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra to revisit landmark works including “Kind of Blue,” “Birth of the Cool,” “Sketches of Spain,” and “Tutu.”
