Mike Gerber: Pianist Extraordinaire 

Pianist Mike Gerber presents a program that reflects his dual foundation in classical technique and jazz improvisation. Gerber is recognized in South Florida for his long-standing contributions to the region’s music community and for his distinctive blend of structure and spontaneity at the keyboard.

Blind and partially deaf since birth, Gerber began performing at an early age and made his debut with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra at 15. He later studied at the University of Miami and has worked with artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Jaco Pastorius, and Pat Metheny. His performances highlight both technical command and an exploratory approach to improvisation.
