This charming Florida vernacular cottage, recently restored, offers a glimpse into the life of Arden Hayes “Doc” Thomas and the vision of architect Robert Fitch Smith. Learn about the home’s unique wood-and-limestone construction and the rich history behind this designated county, state, and national historic site. The one-hour tour also includes a walk through the near-native Steinberg Nature Center campus, a serene 2.2-acre oasis in the heart of South Miami.
