Did you know Charles Darwin’s last book was about worms? Worms, or annelids, are some of the oldest creatures unchanged by time. They have no bones and are 90% water; however, they shaped our entire environment as we know it. In this class, you’ll get to meet some squirmy companions as vermiculture, or the raising of worms, will be discussed. Melissa Corichi will go over how to keep worms as domestic livestock and some techniques for composting with worms or breeding worms for bait and soil maintenance. Worms and worm bins will be available for purchase after the class.
