Symphonettes Fashion Show and Silent Auction

A Big Success for the Arts

On Feb. 10 the Symphonettes  hosted their Annual Fashion Show and Silent Auction celebrating their graduating seniors at The Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove with the theme of “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.” More than 200 members, parents and friends showed their support by attending the 2019 Symphonettes Fashion Show.

The Symphonettes is a Miami based charitable organization founded in 1966 that is made up of approximately 85 high school girls dedicated to enriching and promoting the arts in the South Florida community. Its members usher at concerts, volunteer at local events and raise money to give back to various groups.

Celebrating the seven graduating seniors, the event included a silent auction, brunch and fashion show with casual and formal wear generously provided by Trend, Vigi, and Neptunes Boutiques of Miami. Under the leadership of Rachel Finley Seipp, Symphonettes President and a senior at Ransom Everglades High School, this year’s event raised over $20,000 which along with other monies raised during the year, less direct expenses, will be donated to a range of music and arts causes in the Miami area.
