DESCRIPTION:Actors’ Playhouse presents “The Wizard of Oz\,” a musical adaptation by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy based on the classic novel by L. Frank Baum. Originally produced by The Prince Street Players\, the production runs from July 2 through July 25\, 2026. \n\n\n\nThe story follows Dorothy Gale\, a young girl from Kansas who is transported by a tornado to the Land of Oz. Along her journey\, she is joined by the Scarecrow\, Tin Woodsman\, and Cowardly Lion as they travel in search of the Wizard of Oz while trying to avoid the Wicked Witch of the West. \n\n\n\nPerformances are scheduled Saturdays at 2 pm\, with weekday field trip performances at 10:30 am. A sensory-friendly performance will take place on Sunday\, July 12 at 2 pm\, providing an adapted theater experience for audience members with sensory sensitivities. \n\n\n\nBased on one of the most enduring works of children’s literature\, the musical brings Baum’s characters and adventures to the stage through songs\, humor\, and storytelling. \n\n\n\nRuns through July 25th

He is a recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Award\, The Ellies Creator Award from Oolite Arts\, and the Miami Individual Artists Grant.
