DESCRIPTION:Beginning May 1\, Cielo Tejido launches as part of the Giralda Sky\, transforming Giralda Plaza with a suspended installation of handwoven textiles. Created by artisan women from Etzatlán\, Mexico\, the work introduces a canopy of color and pattern across the pedestrian corridor. \n\n\n\nPresented with support from the Consulate of Mexico\, the installation highlights traditional weaving techniques and brings cultural craftsmanship into a public setting. The project marks the first phase of the Giralda Sky series\, with a second installation scheduled to debut in August.

SUMMARY:Trolls in the Garden
DESCRIPTION:Trolls in the Garden is a self guided scavenger hunt at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden that challenges visitors to find six hidden trolls throughout the Garden during July. Each troll displays a Trollmark\, and participants use the collected Trollmarks to decode a secret word and earn the title of Troll Keeper of Fairchild. The experience includes a trail map\, six discovery stops\, and full day admission to the Garden. Daily Music & Bubbles activations take place at 11 am and 2 pm. The event runs daily from July 1 through July 31\, from 10 am to 5 pm.

SUMMARY:The Wizard of Oz
DESCRIPTION:Actors’ Playhouse presents “The Wizard of Oz\,” a musical adaptation by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy based on the classic novel by L. Frank Baum. Originally produced by The Prince Street Players\, the production runs from July 2 through July 25\, 2026. \n\n\n\nThe story follows Dorothy Gale\, a young girl from Kansas who is transported by a tornado to the Land of Oz. Along her journey\, she is joined by the Scarecrow\, Tin Woodsman\, and Cowardly Lion as they travel in search of the Wizard of Oz while trying to avoid the Wicked Witch of the West. \n\n\n\nPerformances are scheduled Saturdays at 2 pm\, with weekday field trip performances at 10:30 am. A sensory-friendly performance will take place on Sunday\, July 12 at 2 pm\, providing an adapted theater experience for audience members with sensory sensitivities. \n\n\n\nBased on one of the most enduring works of children’s literature\, the musical brings Baum’s characters and adventures to the stage through songs\, humor\, and storytelling. \n\n\n\nRuns through July 25th
