DESCRIPTION:The Freedom Plane National Tour stops at the Museum of Miami from June 20 through July 5\, bringing one of the most significant traveling exhibitions in recent memory to South Florida. Freedom Plane: Documents That Forged a Nation showcases rare historical documents central to the American story\, and admission to the exhibition is included with general museum entry. \n\n\n\nAdvance tickets are strongly recommended to guarantee access on your preferred date. Same-day\, walk-up tickets are available at no charge on a first-come\, first-served basis\, but entry is not guaranteed once the exhibition reaches capacity. Museum Members receive free admission year-round; sign in during checkout to apply your discount or join at museumofmiami.org/membership. \n\n\n\nPlan your visit with these important details in mind: lines close at 4:30 pm\, and entry is not guaranteed for arrivals after 4:00 pm even with an advance ticket. Re-entry is not permitted\, and time inside the exhibition is limited to approximately 15 minutes to accommodate as many visitors as possible. Outdoor queuing and extended wait times are expected\, particularly during peak hours. \n\n\n\nOnly clear bags (maximum 12″ x 6″ x 12″) are permitted inside the exhibition. No food\, drinks\, backpacks\, or large personal items are allowed. Flash photography\, selfie sticks\, and livestreaming are prohibited. Residents\, businesses\, and community partners are invited to donate new\, unopened emergency relief supplies from June 30 through July 6\, between 8 am and 7 pm\, at any of the city’s four fire stations. \n\n\n\nDonations will be accepted from June 30 through July 6\, from 8 am to 7 pm. \n\n\n\nFire Station 1: 2151 Salzedo St. Coral Gables\, FL 33134 Fire Station 2: 525 S. Dixie Highway Coral Gables\, FL 33146 Fire Station 3: 11911 Old Cutler Road Coral Gables\, FL 33156 Firehouse 4: 1345 Sunset Drive Coral Gables\, FL 33143 \n\n\n\nAccepted items include nonperishable food\, canned proteins such as chicken and Vienna sausage\, canned fruits and vegetables\, snack bars\, crackers\, chips\, cases of water\, toothbrushes\, toothpaste\, deodorant\, feminine hygiene products\, toilet paper\, wet wipes\, diapers\, children’s hygiene products\, flashlights\, batteries\, lanterns\, and small portable radios. Spring water\, clothing\, used household items\, loose non-boxed goods\, and cash donations will not be accepted. Financial donations should be made directly through Global Empowerment Mission. \n\n\n\nResidents dropping off donations are asked not to block fire station bay doors\, emergency access areas\, driveways\, or roadways. In addition to the collection drive\, Coral Gables Fire Rescue Division Chief Louis Fajardo has deployed with South Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 2 to assist with rescue operations in Venezuela.
