DESCRIPTION:Part of the University of Miami Libraries’ Mindfulness and Well-Being Programs\, Mindfulness for Inner Resilience offers free\, 45-minute online sessions designed to build focus\, calm\, and resilience through guided meditation\, mindful movement\, and reflection. \n\n\n\nSessions are led by Kelly Miller\, Certified Mindfulness Teacher and Director of Mindfulness and Well-Being Programs\, and Professor Scott Rogers\, Director of the Mindfulness in Law Program at the University of Miami School of Law. Guest teachers join select sessions. SUMMARY:Spring Downtown Community Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join the Spring Downtown Community Cleanup organized by Keep Coral Gables Beautiful (KCGB) and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. The cleanup begins Monday\, April 6 at 5:00 pm at the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce\, 201 Alhambra Circle. Volunteers will help collect litter and support efforts to maintain public spaces in the downtown area. After the cleanup\, participants are invited to gather at Books & Books for light bites and refreshments provided by Baptist Health South Florida. Volunteer hours are available upon request.
