An Evening with Ada Ferrer in conversation with Mirta Ojito

An evening with Ada Ferrer marks the release of her new memoir, “Keeper of My Kin.” Co-presented with the University of Miami Cuban Heritage Collection, the program takes place at the Sanctuary of the Arts and includes a conversation between Ferrer and Mirta Ojito, with introductions by Roberto Martínez.

“Keeper of My Kin” examines migration, family separation, and identity through a multigenerational narrative shaped by the Cuban Revolution. Drawing on personal letters and archival records, Ferrer traces her family’s experience between Cuba and the United States, situating it within a broader historical context.

Tickets are required. Each ticket admits two guests and includes one copy of the book, distributed at entry. Additional copies will be available for purchase at the event.
